Prayer Service

What to Expect

Thursday night service in Jacksonville, Florida begins with worship, followed by the sermon. Once the sermon is finished, the anointing is called and the pastor begins praying for people. If you need prayer for yourself, loved ones, or anyone else you may know, you are invited and encouraged to join us on a Thursday night. It is a powerful service where many people have been healed, delivered, and set free.

Prayer Service Tips

  • REPENT of your sins. Worship the Lord. Keep a humble and reverent attitude.

  • MANIFESTATIONS of the Power of the Holy Spirit are seen/experienced in the prayer service.* This would include healings, miracles, deliverance, speaking in tongues, prophesying, shaking, laughing, crying, oil flowing etc. You may also fall under the power of the Holy Spirit. (2 Chron. 5:14). Note that while miracles are instantaneous, healings and deliverances are gradual. We encourage you to continue to come for prayer until you are completely healed and set free.

  • BIND your healing, miracle or deliverance to yourself daily. BINDING PRAYER: I bind my healing, my deliverance, my promise, my health, my wealth unto myself. I will not allow Satan or anyone to take anything from me. They are mine in the Name of Jesus.

  • HANDKERCHIEFS – We believe in using handkerchiefs anointed with oil. (Acts 19:11-12) If you choose to purchase one in the bookstore and have it anointed, we suggest you keep it on your person or under your mattress or pillow. Do not wash it. Re-anoint it after 6 months.

  • “BREAK THE BONDS THAT TIE” daily (and especially after prayer for others). Be careful who lays hands on you in prayer. There can be a negative transference of spirits.

  • PROTECTION: Pray Psalm 91 and the Attack Prayer daily (there is a copy of both available on the Welcome Table as well).

  • PLEAD THE BLOOD OF JESUS daily over yourself, family, etc.

  • ANOINT yourself and your property regularly with anointing oil. Start inside the house and anoint entrances (doorframes top & sides, doorknobs), windows and mirrors. Second, pour oil at the 4 corners of your property. Anoint your car. (Ex. 40:9, Lev. 8:12, Matt. 6:17, James 5:14)

  • Live a HOLY LIFE with obedience to the Lord and do not open demonic doorways**.

Procedures for Exorcism

Anyone needing deliverance from demon possession or heavy demonic oppression, which may include terminal sickness/disease, must follow these procedures:

  1. He/she must fill out two documents relating to their need to have an exorcism. Soon after, these documents will be destroyed.

  2. He/she must give both documents to the TLM Bookstore staff, which will be given to the pastor.

  3. He/she must have a sponsor for this exorcism. This could well be a person that regularly comes to TLM.

  4. If he/she comes from another church, the sponsor must be a deacon, deaconess, elder, or a minister from that church.

  5. If he/she is accepted as a candidate for exorcism, he/she must come for some time to TLM.

  6. If he/she is accepted as a candidate for exorcism, he/she must come at least three weeks before the exorcism begins.

  7. The person must continue to come for the completion of the exorcism and follow ups (at least six weeks thereafter).

  8. If the person does not follow these rules, the church, following that of the ancient church, will see the person as not being committed to his/her deliverance, and will stop the exorcism.

  9. If the person does not finish the exorcism and renounce all evil spirits, the evil spirits will come back even worse than before.

  10. To preserve the holiness of the Mystery of Exorcism, it is preferable for it not to be recorded.

  11. All people serious for help must write down all prayer requests and put them into an envelope. If there is no envelope or no piece of paper with the written down prayer requests, it is at the discretion of the pastor to pray for those individuals.
