Vision/Beliefs

Vision

  1. To teach and preach the Word of God to a dying world.
  2. To lead people to the saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.
  3. To pray for healing, deliverance, and freedom from whatever afflicts people from the attacks of Satan and his forces.
  4. To teach people to live a life of holiness unto God.
  5. To allow the Holy Spirit to move in meetings and do His sanctifying work in the operation of the supernatural gifts as found in 1 Cor. 12 of the Holy Bible.
  6. To stand upon the Grammar of Greek, Hebrew, and other such languages that the Bible was written in.
  7. To follow the old way already trodden down by the early church.
  8. To accept the teaching of the Early Church in its first three hundred years as long as that is in line with the Bible.
  9. To heal the brokenhearted.
  10. To preach deliverance to the captives.
  11. To recover sight to the blind.
  12. To set at liberty them that are bruised.
  13. To bring in the last Great Awakening before the Lord Jesus Christ comes for His saints.
  14. To catch the Vision of the Early Church.
  15. To awaken the church to its glory and purpose.

Beliefs

  1. We believe in the fundamental truths of the Word of God.
  2. We believe in the literal interpretation of scripture.
  3. We believe that no scripture is of private interpretation (2 Pet. 1:20).
  4. We believe that having an open discussion on every subject is possible.
  5. We believe that the Word of God is the final authority in all matters as pertaining to life, faith, and practice.
  6. We believe in the Verbal Inspiration of the Whole Bible in its original form.
  7. We believe that the Word of God, in its original writings, is without any error.
  8. We believe that a true believer must stand upon Hebrew, Greek, and Latin grammar, and must interpret the Biblical texts according to grammatical rules.
  9. We believe that Adam was created without sin, but fell by disobedience and his own will.
  10. By this fall of Adam, the whole human race has fallen into a state of sin and depravity. All humanity is by nature evil, spiritually dead and lost, and in need of a redeemer.
  11. We believe that to speak conversely there is in the Godhead three separate persons (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), coeternal and coequal from all eternity.
  12. We believe that the Son and the Holy Spirit are as much God as the Father is God in nature, never deriving their existence or nature from anyone (as taught by the early church before Origen).
  13. We believe that Jesus Christ (who is God the Son) came to this world, became man, born of a virgin, shed his blood on the Cross as a substitutionary atonement for the sins of the world, was buried, descended into the underworld as a conqueror, rose bodily, and ascended to the right hand of the Father.
  14. We believe in all the works of God the Holy Spirit, which includes the conviction of sin, regeneration and sanctification of sinners, indwelling of believers, the manifestations of spiritual gifts, and the baptism of the Holy Spirit with fire.
  15. We believe that salvation comes when Christ is accepted as Savior and Lord and the Holy Spirit imparts eternal life.
  16. We believe the doctrine of baptisms, of laying on of hands, and divine healing of the sick.
  17. We believe in the bodily resurrection of the righteous and the bodily resurrection of the wicked.
  18. We believe in the judgment of the righteous and wicked.
  19. We believe in an immeasurable glory for all the redeemed and in an immeasurable damnation for all the lost.
  20. We believe in the imminent return of the Lord.
  21. We believe in Pre-millennialism.   This is a system of belief that asserts that Christ will return to earth, literally and bodily, before the millennial age begins and that, by His presence, a kingdom will be instituted over which He will reign.  It denies anyone or anything instituting the millennial kindom, but Christ and His return.
  22. We believe in Dispensationism (as taught by the early church).  A system of Bible interpretation that traces back, in one form or another, to the early church and the Jewish scholars.  The system recognizes that different times mean different things in the Bible.  It works to interpret the Word of God according to the time that each part of the Bible deals with.  Dispensationalism shows that the Word of God is to be divided into several dispensations, and in each dispensation God deals differently with the His creatures.
  23. We believe in Pre-tribulationalism.  This is a system of belief that holds that the Rapture for the Church and the Old Testament saints will take place before the Tribulational period, or before the Day of the Lord.
  24. We believe in all the fundamental doctrines of the Christian faith (as taught by the early church).
